Apriling Orders

Because Marching Orders are overdone.

So yes, Thursday I'll be leaving for Lafayette. The temptation to stop by N'awlins is strong. Very strong. Yes. I'll have to pack appropriately if I do. I might have to get some gifts for a few people; I know one person who should have something from there, but I dunno at this point.

I'm in a good mood today. I just got back from fishing. It was random fishing, often the best kind; I just pulled into my apartment after a long day of work when the phone call came. The desire for rest and relaxation was overcome by the desire to be around water, so I went with Kramer and Mrs. Kramer. Didn't catch anything, but we were taunted several times by a rather large gar. I named it Bastard Fish, after the arcade game in Postal II.

We're busy at Aardvark. Three cons in two weeks; two are top tier, high profit conventions. I'll be in Lafayette this weekend, and in Baltimore next. It's been a while since I've been to Louisiana, and I do enjoy it there. My younger brother is going with me to Lafayette; he and I have never actually done a convention together; it's always Youngest who goes when I take someone. Baltimore is a place I like to be, but I do not like the drive. I'll have good company, though. We'll rendezvous there with Gothgeek and her hubby (and my nephew) and then it'll just be a grand old time.

Oh, this was named "orders"for a reason. I'll not have many opportunities to post, but on August 3rd, go to American Non-Fiction. The first of what I hope to be many pieces to pour from my pen will run that day. Oh, I'll remind you to look. In the meantime, go through and read their archives for much fun stuff!

Have fun!
