I just spend $200 on a book.
But it's a Linebarger book, so that makes everything okay. I found a copy of Psychological Warfare. I didn't care what edition, I just wanted a copy that badly. I'm collecting everything he published, you see, because everyone needs at least one author like that, preferably obscure but notable.
I'm still kicking myself for not spending $1000 on a signed 2nd edition. Signed to one of his collaborators, no less. If I ever see another one, I'm doing it.
I'm much better about not doing the "impulse buying" thing, especially when I'm feeling blue, but I saw it on Amazon. And they usually go for $300-$500 for a decent copy.
Gott en Himmel, I'm tired. And it's off to Huntsvegas I go!
Update:
I just got my first rejection letter! YAY! Today is a day to celebrate!
