This is pretty damn awesome!
1) I'm thankful for the Bible. In it are the words of life. It is the Word of Life. I don't believe that the book is perfect, because of the errors and sins of men, but I do believe that in it is perfection. I am close to God. I feel Him moving in strange directions (to quote Dune) in my life. God wants my attention, and I've given it over to too many other things. He has it now. In that vein, I'm thankful for my friends who have listened to my recent epiphanies and understandings, and who have expanded upon them and reinforced them. I pray God's blessings upon them all.
2) I'm thankful for both of my jobs, and both of my bosses. They're both good to me, even when I screw up, which seems to be pretty damn often lately. I've tried to be good to them, though I'll be honest, my work ethic kinda suffered over the years. It's not that I don't work, it's that I don't put everything I have into my work anymore. Not because I'm lazy, but because I'm tired. I'm trying to get back in the saddle, though.
3) I'm thankful for my new (old) house. I like it, it's big enough that I have plenty of room, but not so big as to be unmanageable. Some have mistaken it as my laying down permanent roots. No, it is a strategic investment to propel me to even better places and greater things.
